What the North East code says

An accessory dwelling unit takes a zoning permit in A5A, R3A, R1A and R20K and site plan approval in LC, and the owner must live in the house or the unit, which may be let for at least 90 consecutive days. It is not permitted in BD-4, BD-West, BD-East, IB or M-A.
